Package org.lsst.ccs.subsystems.fcs.singlefiltertest Description

This package is for the Single Filter Test control software. The Single Filter Test is a test bench to test mainly the clamps which hold a filter on the carousel and the latches which hold a filter in the autochanger truck. This test bench is going to be assembly in Marseille in the CCPM laboratory, a IN2P3 lab. It contains a fake carousel which cannot rotate with two clamps, a very simple autochanger truck with two latches a dummy filter. This is a hardware and software test, as we are going to test both. The mechanical team want to test a sequence of operation which consists in moving a filter from standby position on the carousel to an higher position (online position) and test the transition of the filter from the carousel to the autochanger and vice-versa. This sequence of operation can be done many times. The number of times can be given by the operator at the console. The devices to control are :

• a motor to move the autochanger trucks
• a filter presence sensorfor each clamp
• an actuator for each clamp to unlock or release the clamp
• sensors to know if the clamp is locked or unlocked : one for one side and two for the other side.

After the construction of the camera, this package will not be used anymore.
