newGlobalClient

Creates a new object. Creates needed C++ objects.

Parameters:

part - The name of the DAQ partition to use

Throws:

REBException

newGlobalClient

default void newGlobalClient(int[] ids,
                             String[] ifcs)
                      throws REBException

Creates a new object.

Parameters:

ids - The IDs of the REBs to connect to

ifcs - The names of the hardware interfaces to use for the corresponding IDs. If null, or an element is null or empty, the default interface is used.

Throws:

REBException

deleteGlobalClient

default void deleteGlobalClient()

Deletes an object. Deletes referenced C++ objects.

getHwType

default int getHwType()

Gets the hardware type.

Returns:

The encoded hardware type

setRegisterList

default void setRegisterList(int rebType,
                             int[] registers)

Sets the registers to be read at image acquisition.

Parameters:

rebType - The encode REB type

registers - The array of register addresses

triggerImage

default long triggerImage(String name)
                   throws REBException

Triggers image acquisition.

Parameters:

name - The image name

Returns:

The trigger time (nsec since the Epoch)

triggerImage

                          String folder,
                          int opcode,
                          String annotation,
                          int... ids)
                   throws REBException

Triggers image acquisition.

Parameters:

name - The image name

folder - The image folder to use

opcode - The sequencer opcode

annotation - The image annotation

ids - An array of REB ids to use; if empty, use whole partition

Returns:

The trigger time (nsec since the Epoch)

Throws:

REBException

startSequencer

default long startSequencer(int opcode)
                     throws REBException

Starts the sequencer.

Parameters:

opcode - The sequencer opcode

Returns:

The trigger time (nsec since the Epoch)
