How to ready the shutter for data taking

  1. Power on.
    • Both motors.
    • The Beckhoff controller.
    • The HCU.
  2. Turn on the FES enable.
    • Floor: There's a toggle on the power box.
    • Camera: Turn on the FES PLC.
  3. If necessary, use the Stop button on the GUI to bring the subsystem to the Still state.
  4. Enable both axes.
  5. Release both brakes.
  6. Run a calibration.
  7. Close the shutter by slowly (1 mm/sec) moving each blade set to its 0 position.
  8. Click on "Prod mode" in the GUI.
